Thus, at a recent photo shoot for Sports Illustrated , he drew on his experience to help fellow champion Olympic swimmer Katie Ledecky find the best way to pose with his medals (five in all of Rio, four gold and one silver) for a photo shoot.
Make the moment even more fun is the presence of his Olympic multi-medal compatriot Simone Biles, the US team five-medal gymnast, receiving some praise from Phelps: "Did you see how high she flies?"

But the adorable interaction between Phelps and Ledecky caps a great Olympics throwback to the pair. Earlier in the Rio Games, a photo of Phelps Ledecky meeting 10 years ago resurfaced and made the rounds on social media.

After the photo exploded and Phelps and Ledecky time put more gold for the US side, the pair recreated the photo with the roles reversed.
